YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Gusty north northwesterly winds 25 to 35 mph this afternoon could impact high profile vehicles on east-west orientated roadways along and west of Highway 27.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Light snow is expected across much of the Tri State area Thursday and Thursday night. Amounts will stay at an inch or less. The best chance for accumulation will be for areas in Colorado and adjacent portions of Kansas and Nebraska.  Well below zero wind chill readings are possible during the early morning hours on Friday and Saturday. Record low temperatures are also possible for a few locations Friday morning.  For Sunday into the beginning of next week, wind chill readings during the early morning hours will range in the single numbers and mostly teens above zero.  Elevated fire weather conditions are possible for portions of the Tri State area on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
