YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Light snow will develop over portions of the area this morning, mainly south of the Interstate, where up to 1 or 2 inches of snow may accumulate. North of the Interstate, a trace to a tenth of an inch of snow is possible. Snow will end from west to east by early afternoon.  Wind chill readings will be in the single numbers above zero this morning. Patchy blowing snow is also possible, but mainly south of a line from Sharon Springs, Kansas over to Hill City, Kansas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Cold wind chill readings will persist throughout the week, mainly during the overnight and early morning hours. Well-below zero wind chill readings are possible on Friday and Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but any snowfall reports would be greatly appreciated.
