YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...  Winds will shift to the north and increase to 15 to 25 mph late this evening. Wind chill readings will fall into the single digits after midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Light snow will develop over portions of the area around sunrise Monday morning, mainly south and east of Oakley, Kansas.. where a dusting to 1 or 2 inches of snow may accumulate. Snow will end from west to east by early afternoon.  Cold wind chill readings will persist throughout the week, mainly during the overnight and early morning hours. Well-below zero wind chill readings are possible on Friday and Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
