YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Elevated fire weather conditions continue this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Elevated to near-critical fire weather conditions will continue Saturday afternoon.  There is increasing confidence for a high impact weather day on Sunday with southwesterly winds gusting up to 55 mph, resulting in critical to extremely critical fire weather conditions and blowing dust concerns. Blowing dust is likely late Sunday morning through sunset. Reductions in visibility and air quality are expected. Confidence in this forecast is now medium to high. A wind shift to the northwest is expected with cold front passage Sunday night.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
