YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Critical fire weather conditions are expected across the entire Tri State region this afternoon. A Red Flag warning is in effect as a result with low humidity and winds gusting up to 40 to 45 mph impacting the area. West to northwest winds will turn to the north through the afternoon. As the winds become more from the north they will begin to decline.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  The end of the growing season may be approaching early next week as temperatures fall to around 30 degrees. Some locations may be cold enough to have a freeze either Monday or Tuesday morning. Please watch for future forecast updates and consider preparing outdoor vegetation and property for these conditions.  Elevated fire weather conditions are expected across the entire Tri State region Thursday and Friday afternoons.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected.
