This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Near-critical fire weather conditions are likely Sunday across the region as hot temperatures combine with low humidity, gusty south winds, and ongoing drought conditions.  A few storms are possible this evening, primarily across eastern Colorado. The main threats with these storms would be cloud-to- ground lightning and perhaps wind gusts up to 60 MPH.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Showers and storms are anticipated Monday and Tuesday. The main threats with these storms will be heavy rainfall and cloud-to-ground lightning, although some strong wind gusts may also be possible with storms Monday evening.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
