YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow counties this afternoon with heat index values as high as 105 degrees.  Near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon for areas west of a line from McCook to Tribune. Outdoor burning is not advised.  Isolated non severe thunderstorms are possible for much of the area late this afternoon through about midnight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Heat Advisory is in effect Tuesday afternoon and evening for Decatur, Norton, Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Logan and Gove counties. Heat index values of 104 to 108 degrees are expected. Isolated non severe thunderstorms are possible Tuesday evening across much of far eastern Colorado.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
