YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Above normal temperatures and predominately dry conditions will persist through the upcoming work week and next weekend.  From Monday all the way through next weekend, many locations will see a return of highs in the 100s with heat indices as high as 103.  A brief duration of near critical to critical fire weather conditions is expected across the area near the intersection of Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas on Monday and Tuesday afternoon with elevated to near critical fire weather conditions expected across the region each afternoon through the remainder of the week and into next weekend.  Isolated thunderstorms are possible late each afternoon and evening during the latter part of next week into next weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
