YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Near critical fire weather conditions are possible for areas along and west of Highway 27 this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Above normal temperatures, predominately dry conditions, will persist Monday onward through the week. Many locales will see a return of highs in the 100s. Heat indices expected to remain close to or just below forecasted highs.  Critical fire weather conditions expected for next Monday and Tuesday for portions of the Tri State region each day. Near critical conditions expected for the remainder of the week.  Low chances for thunderstorms expected for the afternoon and evening hours from the midweek timeframe onward.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
