This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... High temperatures across the area today will range from the upper 90s to near 110 while Heat Index values will range from the middle 90s to 108. A Heat Advisory remains in effect from 100 pm until 800 pm CDT for Decatur, Sheridan, Gove, Norton and Graham counties in Kansas and Red Willow county in Nebraska. There is a chance of thunderstorms across the region from late this afternoon through the late evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... Hot weather will continue across the region Saturday into next week. Temperatures in excess of 100 degrees will be widespread, with Saturday and Sunday being the coolest in the 90s. Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are also possible each day. Of concern to be monitored will be Monday and Tuesday. Chances for thunderstorms are also possible Saturday as well as into the beginning of next week for a good portion of the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
