This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... High temperatures today will range from the upper 90s into the mid and upper 100s. A Heat Advisory remains in effect from 100 pm until 800 pm CDT for the following counties: Red Willow down south to Gove, as well as Graham and Norton. Heat index values up to 105 to 106 degrees are expected. There will be chances for thunderstorms across the region this afternoon and evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... Hot weather will continue across the region Saturday into next week. Temperatures in excess of 100 degrees will be widespread, with Saturday and Sunday being the coolest in the 90s. Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are also possible each day. Of concern to be monitored will be Monday and Tuesday. Chances for thunderstorms are also possible Saturday as well as into the beginning of next week for a good portion of the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
