Near critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon
generally west of a line from Trenton Nebraska to Hoxie and Gove
Kansas. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible from early this afternoon through
sunset generally west of a line from Benkelman Nebraska to Goodland
Kansas and Cheyenne Wells Colorado. The primary threat will be gusty
outflow winds to 50 mph.
