Severe thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours on Friday for locations west of a Yuma to Goodland and Leoti line. Quarter size hail and wind gusts of 60-70 MPH will be the primary threats. Elevated fire weather conditions are possible Sunday afternoon for locations along and west of Kansas Highway 27.
