This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY…
From Thursday afternoon into Friday night there is a high degree
of uncertainty in the timing and location of the development of
thunderstorms. On Thursday afternoon and night it looks like
thunderstorms will develop along and east of the Colorado border. In
this area, a few severe thunderstorms could occur. The biggest
threat
will be for locally heavy rainfall.
Where storms develop on Friday and how strong they are will depend
how Thursdays storms affects the air mass. There will once again be
the potential for a few severe thunderstorms. At this time it looks
like the most widespread threat will be locally heavy rainfall which
could cause flash flooding.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…
Spotter activation will not be required.
