YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  There is a marginal risk for severe weather along and west of Highway 25 this evening. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will move across eastern Colorado early this evening and then into northwestern Kansas and southwest Nebraska by mid-evening. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threat with some of the stronger storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  A marginal to slight risk of severe storms exits across the area as a cold front pushes across the region late Tuesday afternoon and evening. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats although an isolated tornado can not be ruled out.  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will move off the higher terrain in Colorado Wednesday afternoon and move across the Plains mainly south of Interstate 70 Wednesday evening. There will be a marginal risk for some storms becoming severe.  Elevated to Critical Fire Weather conditions are possible Thursday as dry conditions ahead of the next cold front bring relative humidity values below 20 percent along with southwest winds gusting over 25 mph.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
