This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
There will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms over the
mountains and foothills today and a slight chance over the plains
this afternoon and early evening. The storms will produce light
to moderate rainfall and wind gusts to 40 mph with occasional
lightning. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than yesterday’s
readings yet still remain above seasonal normals.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday
Warm and mostly dry weather is expected over the forecast area
Wednesday. The chance of showers will increase over the mountains
and foothills on Thursday and Friday as a weather disturbance
moves over Wyoming and northern Colorado. Drier weather will
return for the weekend with temperatures around seasonal normals.
