This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight There will be a continuing chance of light snow in the mountains today and tonight, especially along the Continental Divide and along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor. Snow accumulations will be 2 to 5 inches but only around an inch or less over the far northern mountains. Dry and a bit cooler across lower elevations today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Light snow is expected to continue in the mountains Wednesday and Wednesday night with minor additional accumulations. The next system will bring snow to the mountains and even the plains starting Sunday, continuing into next week. This system could bring significant snowfall, so stay tuned. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, however snowfall amounts will be appreciated over the mountains.
