Gusty southwest winds up to 50 mph will also create some blowing snow over the mountain passes and exposed ridgelines. Across lower elevations, there will be a chance of rain and snow showers tonight, mainly northern areas bordering Wyoming and Nebraska. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday There will likely be snowfall across the high country Tuesday through Thursday in two waves, accumulating generally 1 to 3 inches but up to 9 inches are possible in favored areas of the southern Front Range, including around the I-70 mountain corridor. Those traveling the higher elevations should prepare for winter conditions. There is a slight chance of light snow showers for the plains late Wednesday through early Thursday.
