Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Today will be an active weather day. While it starts off sunny
and cool, thunderstorms will rapidly develop over the mountains
this afternoon and move east across the plains from late afternoon
through the evening. A fairly well organized line of thunderstorms
is expected to push east across the area, with most storms
producing gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph, a period of heavy rain and
small hail, and lightning. However, embedded severe storms may
produce damaging winds up to 65 mph and hail greater than 1 inch
in diameter.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday

It will be dry on Monday. For Tuesday there will be a slight
chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Another disturbance an
accompanying cold front will bring a good chance of showers and
thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and night over the area.
Thursday will be dry and cooler.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation may be required by 3 PM. Any reports of severe
weather including damaging winds will be appreciated.
