This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected today, with the highest coverage along and south of the I-70 Corridor. A few of these may produce brief heavy rain. The threat of flash flooding for burn areas appears to be limited as the majority of the showers and storms will likely stay south of most of the recent burn areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Drier weather is expected Wednesday and especially Thursday, though there will still be some afternoon storms over the mountains with a low threat of burn area flooding. Some increase in thunderstorm activity is expected for the weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of heavy rainfall or flooding would be appreciated.
