Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will develop over the mountains this
afternoon, and spread east onto the nearby plains in the late
afternoon and evening. Some of the storms will produce heavy rain
and wind gusts to 40 mph. The chance for severe storms or flooding
is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday

There will be a chance of late day showers and thunderstorms
over the high country on Thursday, then over much of the forecast
area Friday through Sunday. Heavy rainfall will be the biggest
threat with the storms. The chances of late day showers and
thunderstorms will decrease slightly Monday and Tuesday.
Temperatures will be above normal on Thursday, then near normal
the rest of the time.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
