This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Continued hot and dry across the plains with high temperatures from the middle 90s to near 100 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected again over the mountains and northern Front Range foothills. Brief heavy rain and gusty winds will be the main impacts. There is a limited threat of flash flooding over the burn scars given the increase in moisture levels.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Through this weekend, expect very warm temperatures to continue and scattered storms will bring a limited threat of burn area flash flooding. Early next week, storm coverage and intensity will significantly increase as will the threat of burn area flash flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
