Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will develop over the mountains this
afternoon, and spread east onto the nearby plains in the late
afternoon and evening. Some of the storms will produce heavy rain
and wind gusts to 40 mph. The chance for severe storms or flooding
is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday

Thursday will be one more hot day before a pattern change brings
cooler temperatures to the area through early next week.
Thunderstorm chances will be increasing Thursday through Sunday,
with each day having more chances for heavy rain occurring. Strong
westerly downslope winds and drier air will push in for Sunday
night and Monday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
