Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will develop over the mountains will
produce dangerous cloud to ground lightning and brief heavy rain.
An isolated storm or two will also drift onto the nearby plains
and ridges including the Palmer Divide.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

Scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms are
expected over the mountains, foothills and adjacent plains through
the weekend. The plains further east can expect a slight chance
of late day storms. Moisture is forecast to increase later Sunday
continuing through mid next week. Consequently, there will a
better chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.
Heavy rainfall will be the main threat with this pattern.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
