WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains around the noon hour before spreading over portions of the plains and Palmer Divide this afternoon. The storms will be more numerous along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor, with lesser chances further north and east across the far northeast plains. The main impact again will be gusty winds up to 45 mph and brief heavy rain with the stronger storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Thursday will be more dry and there will be elevated fire weather conditions across much of the plains in the afternoon.  Friday looks to be the hottest day of the period and with high temperatures near or above 100 F across much of the plains. Heat risk will increase and issuance of a Heat Advisory is possible for at least the northeast corner, though most of the plains will at least be considered. Friday also now looks to be pretty dry and elevated fire weather conditions similar to those Thursday are possible.  This weekend, coverage and intensity of storms and showers will increase again and there will probably be at least a limited threat of burn area flash flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
