This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be limited in coverage this afternoon. Impacted areas remain south of the I-70 corridor and along the Palmer Divide. These storms will likely produce gusts up to 45 mph and limited rainfall. Thunderstorm chances are low for areas across the eastern plains and urban corridor but increasing cloud cover will occur. Tonight, temperatures will be slightly cooler compared to yesterday. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Wednesday, scattered afternoon and evening storms will bring a limited threat of burn area flash flooding. Thursday will be more dry and there will be elevated fire weather conditions across much of the plains in the afternoon. Friday looks to be the hottest day of the period and with high temperatures near or above 100 F across much of the plains. Heat risk will increase and issuance of a Heat Advisory is possible for at least the northeast corner and potentially the plains. Moisture will also increase again and there will probably be at least a limited threat of burn area flash flooding through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
