WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Today will be mostly sunny with temperatures warming above normal reaching the mid 90s to low 100s across the plains. It would be a good idea to hydrate and wear sunscreen today. There is no threat of burn area flash flooding.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Record heat will be possible on Monday afternoon across the plains with temperatures from the upper 90s to 105. There will also be elevated fire danger on the plains for much of the upcoming week with plenty of heat, low humidities and breezing conditions.  There will be scattered showers and thunderstorm each day over the mountains with lesser chances moving east over the plains. There may be a greater chance for thunderstorms by next weekend with increasing monsoonal moisture.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
