WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Isolated showers and storms today mainly over the northern mountains and far northeastern plains by the afternoon. Main hazards will be gusty winds and small hail with lightning. Warmer today with highs reaching into the mid to upper 80s across the plains and 60s to 70s in the high country.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected most days, although there will be a propensity toward higher coverage and stronger storms for Monday and Tuesday.  The storms Sunday afternoon and evening will mostly produce gusty outflow winds to around 40 mph.  A couple severe storms will still be possible Monday and Tuesday, although instability could be limited. Recent burn areas in the mountains and foothills may see a risk of flash flooding. The risk of strong to severe thunderstorms may remain in the area off and on through next Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
