WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...Critical Fire Weather Conditions Noon to 7 PM for South Park, the Southern Front Range Foothills and Palmer Divide...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Persistently dry conditions, above normal temperatures and breezy conditions near the higher terrain can be expected today. Critical fire weather conditions will exist in  South Park, the Southern Front Range Foothills and Palmer Divide through early evening. Winds gusts 30 to 35 mph are expected in these areas. Avoid any outdoor burning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  There will a slight chance of late day showers and thunderstorms through the upcoming work week. A few of the storms could produce small hail and wind gusts to 50 mph, more so over the eastern plains on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are expected on Thursday afternoon for the plains and Park County.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
