Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Today will be much cooler on the plains with high temperatures
near 80. It will be dry with just an isolated late day shower or
thunderstorm possible over the Palmer Divide.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Tuesday will have similar weather with just a slight chance of a
thunderstorm over the plains or foothills. It will be hot and dry
with afternoon breezes over the higher mountains and the mountain
valleys.

The warm dry conditions will spread to the east side of
the mountain for Wednesday and Thursday, and fire danger will be
elevated. A little cooling and a chance of thunderstorms are
expected for Friday and Saturday, then it will be warmer and drier
again starting Sunday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
