…High Fire Danger Today…
This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Hot, windy and dry conditions will produce high to extreme fire
danger, especially this afternoon. Conditions will be most extreme
in the Front Range mountains below 10 thousand feet, high
mountain valleys, in and near the northern foothills and Cheyenne
Ridge. Due to the dry conditions no thunderstorms are expected
today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday
Monday and Tuesday will be cooler with a slight chance of showers
or thunderstorms. Wednesday and Thursday will be drier and hotter
with high temperatures back around 90. Friday into Saturday,
another cold front will bring cooler temperatures and a better
chance of thunderstorms to the region.
