This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Seasonally cold temperatures will persist throughout the day today
with highs 20 to 30 degrees below normal. Light snow will be
likely over the mountains this afternoon into this evening.
Snowfall amounts in the mountains will be between 1 to 4 inches.
Some of these snow showers may move onto the urban corridor late
this afternoon and evening. Snowfall accumulations there will be
less than an inch except for the northwest Denver metro which
could see up to 2 inches.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday
An active pattern will bring snow to the high country late
Saturday into early Sunday and again on Monday. Across the plains
there will be a slight chance of showers on Sunday and Monday.
Another system may affect the area Thursday into Friday bringing
accumulating snow. Temperatures will increase through the week
with 60s across the plains by Tuesday.
