This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Light snow is expected to continue across most of the forecast
area through early to mid afternoon. Later this afternoon some
snow showers will develop. The highest snowfall totals will be up
to 4 inches over the far northeastern corner of COlorado. The
rest of the plains will se lesser amounts. The high mountains can
expected snowfall amounts up to 8 inches by late evening tonight.
Travelers should be prepared for variable road conditions and use
caution when encountering heavier snow showers and/or slushy
roads.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday
Drier and somewhat warmer weather conditions are expected to
return over the weekend and continue through Monday. A colder and
more unsettled weather pattern will return Tuesday and Wednesday
with more snow in the mountains and rain or snow on the plains.
