South Dakota…southwestern South Dakota…and the Black Hills of
.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight
A strong winter storm will bring heavy snow and breezy conditions
to the area beginning this afternoon. The combination of falling
and blowing snow will lead to the development of hazardous travel
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday
Snow will decrease from west to east on Saturday. Storm total
snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches are expected, with locally
heavier amounts possible in the southern and central Black Hills.
Breezy conditions may lead to continued blowing snow and reduced
visibilities, even after falling snow ends.
