Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

It will be dry and mild across the plains today. Mountain areas
will also enjoy plenty of sunshine today. Later tonight, gusty
winds will increase over the northern mountains and higher
foothills with gusts up to 40 mph possible. There will be a few
snow showers over the high mountains passes after midnight,
mainly around Rabbit Ears Pass.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday

The next chance for precipitation will be on Sunday when snow is
likely in the mountains. On the plains, most places will have a
breezy period with rain showers Sunday evening. For Monday
through Thursday it will be a bit cooler with a lesser chance of
showers on the plains. Mountain areas will see a chance of light
snow showers each day of the week. There is a better chance of
mountain snow and lower elevation rain again by Friday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
