Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

A storm system will move across southern Colorado and will
continue to produce some light to moderate snowfall mainly south
of Interstate 70 this afternoon. There will be little if any
snowfall accumulation over far northern Colorado. By tonight
the storm system will move east of the area with snow ending by
early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday

A winter storm system will move across southern Colorado late
tonight and Sunday which will bring snow to the region, mainly
south of Interstate 70. North of Interstate 70, periods of light
snow will be possible. For areas south of Interstate 70, snowfall
amounts of 3 to 6 inches area expected. Farther north, amounts are
expected to be less than 3 inches with little if any snowfall
over far northern Colorado.

Monday and Tuesday will be windy with periods of snow in the
mountains.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
