Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Near record high temperatures are expected today along with very
low humidity. Over the mountains it will also become breezy in
the afternoon leading to high fire danger.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late Tuesday afternoon
through Tuesday night mainly across the plains, following the
passage of a cold front. The storms will be slow moving and will
produce heavy rainfall in some areas.

On Wednesday, there will be a good chance of thunderstorms over
the area. Once again the storms will be slow moving and will
produce heavy rainfall, in some areas, especially from the
foothills across the plains. The chance for thunderstorms will
continue into Thursday and Friday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
