Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

…Flash Flood Watch for portion of the Northeast Plains 4 pm MDT
to Midnight…

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms will develop during the early afternoon over the
mountains and foothills and will push eastward onto the plains
through the evening. These storms will be capable of producing
heavy rainfall and flash flooding across the plains mainly east of
line from Greeley to Kiowa. The strongest storms may also produce
strong wind gusts up to 60 mph and small hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Tuesday

The upper level ridge will remain anchored over the Central and
Southern Rockies through early next week. Friday and Saturday,
temperatures will be near normal with a slightly drier airmass in
place. Sunday into early next week there will be a gradual
increase in afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms, with
near normal temperatures expected.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
