Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Snow showers will persist much of the day on Sunday across the
mountains, foothills, and urban corridor. In the mountains and
foothills, snowfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are expected. Up to 4
inches of snow will be possible over the urban corridor with the
heavier amounts on the west of I-25. Some roads will become snow
covered and slippery

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday

Snow showers will develop during the latter half of the day on
Monday and continue through much of Monday night. Light to moderate
snowfall totals are expected with the I-70 corridor mountains and
the foothills south and west of Denver seeing the highest amounts.
The Monday evening commute could see poor travel conditions in the
Denver metro.

Another system arrives late Wednesday and into Thursday with snow
possible across all of north-central and northeast Colorado. At
this time, snowfall amounts and travel impacts look minimal with
this system.


Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
