Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

It will be dry and warmer today. Winds will be gusty at times.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible over the higher terrain.
Across the plains a few gusts from 35 to 40 mph will occur near
the Wyoming border.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

Warm and dry conditions are expected to prevail through this
weekend. It will windy at times, mainly in and near the
foothills.

Much colder temperatures will move into the area on Monday. Snow
is expected to develop sometime Monday or Monday night. Light snow
may linger into Tuesday before ending. The snow combined with
cold temperatures will make roads snow covered and slippery late
Monday through early Tuesday.

Snow is expected to reform over the mountains late Wednesday and
continue through at least Friday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
