Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

It will be dry and warmer today. Winds will be gusty at times.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible over the higher terrain.
Across the plains a few gusts from 35 to 40 mph will occur near
the Wyoming border.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

Dry conditions are expected this weekend with temperatures well
above seasonal normals, the warmest day being Sunday. An
unsettled weather pattern moves into the forecast area Monday and
sticks around much of next week. Monday’s temperatures will be
about 40 degrees colder than Sunday. Snow is expected in the
mountains for much of next week. For the plains, there will be a
chance of snow Monday afternoon into Tuesday evening. Decent
snowfall amounts are possible next week, but it is still to early
to tell just now. Stay tuned for the latest forecasts.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
