This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
Mostly dry weather is expected across north central and
northeastern Colorado Saturday and Saturday night. The exception
will be a few late afternoon and evening showers and storms across
the far eastern plains. With less available moisture, the storms
are only expected to produce brief light to moderate rain and
gusty winds to 50 mph.
Fire danger will continue to be elevated in the mountains and
over the higher foothills due to low relative humidity and gusty
westerly winds up to 25 mph. Be sure to adhere to local fire bans.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday
Elevated fire danger will be in place Sunday and Monday with no
thunderstorms expected. The next chance of thunderstorms will be
late Tuesday and Wednesday.

Formal spotter activation is not anticipated today, but reports of
observed severe weather will be appreciated.
