Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Very light snow will fall over the eastern plains and mountains
today with amounts less than an inch expected. Moderate winds will
gust up to 40 mph over the eastern plains. Otherwise, cool and
mostly cloudy.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

Snow is expected in the higher mountains from late Saturday
through the middle of next week. The snow will mainly be light,
though heavier snow is possible Tuesday into Wednesday. Periods of
light snow are likely in the mountain valleys. For the plains and
foothills there is a chance of snow late Tuesday or early
Wednesday.

It will also be windy in the higher mountains and foothills
through the period. Winds of 30 to 50 mph can be expected much of
the time in wind prone areas of the mountains and foothills. There
is a chance of stronger winds early Saturday, late Sunday, and
again Tuesday into Wednesday.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
