Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Expect gusty northwest winds up to 35 mph across the northeast
plains of Colorado today along with patchy blowing snow. The winds
will diminish this evening. Further west towards the mountains,
the winds will be much less. Temperatures will be slightly warmer
today over the plains under mostly sunny skies.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Light to moderate snow and gusty winds will push into the
mountains on Wednesday into Thursday, with a chance of light snow
for the plains Wednesday afternoon and evening. Winds will
increase across the area Thursday evening. Another jet will keep
strong gusty winds across the forecast area Friday into Saturday.
There will be a quick warm up Saturday before a potential bora-
type event may blast through the area Sunday

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
