Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Strong northwesterly winds at 20 to 40 mph, gusting up to 50 mph
are expected over most of the plains of northeast Colorado this
afternoon well into tonight. This will result in areas of blowing
snow and reduced visibilities at times. The rest of the plains,
foothills, and mountains can expect lighter winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday

A quick moving weather system will bring light to moderate snow
to the mountains Wednesday into Thursday, with just a slight
chance of light snow on the plains Wednesday night. A chance for
snow will continue for the high mountains through Saturday, with
gusty winds over the passes likely generating blowing snow.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
