This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
The storm system which impacted the region on Saturday will
continue to shift away from Colorado today. Still, expect gusty
northwest winds up to 50 mph across the northeast plains and a
chance of light snow this morning. This will result in areas of
blowing snow and reduced visibilities at times. The winds will
decrease this evening along with clearing skies.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday
A quick moving weather system will bring light to moderate snow
to the mountains Wednesday into Thursday, with just a slight
chance of light snow on the plains Wednesday night. A chance for
snow will continue for the high mountains through Saturday, with
gusty winds over the passes likely to producing blowing snow.
