Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Only isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected by later
this afternoon in the mountains and southern Front Range
Foothills; mainly across Park, Douglas and Jefferson counties.
Expect brief rain, lightning and gusty winds with the weak storms.
Dry conditions are expected elsewhere.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Tuesday through Sunday

Strong to possibly severe storms may occur over the far eastern
plains on Tuesday, and to a lesser extent on Wednesday. Main
hazards will be hail, brief heavy rain and strong outflow winds.
Further west will only have a slight chance of weaker storms,
which would have lightning and gusty winds.

Thursday through the weekend will feature similar weather with
temperatures at or just above normal temperatures along with
isolated to widely scattered weak afternoon and evening
thunderstorms.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
