This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered afternoon showers and storms are expected this afternoon, beginning across the higher terrain then moving eastward onto the lower elevations. With a slight increase in moisture today, a few may be more efficient rain makers than the past few days. The main hazard with today's convection will be gusty outflows once again, with 40 to 50 mph gusts possible. With modest shear values expected, can't rule out some small hail, but any storms that develop are expected to remain sub-severe today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Conditions are expected to trend drier beginning on Sunday and continue that way through at least mid-week, lowering afternoon storm coverage each day, with temperatures peaking in the mid to upper 90s on Thursday.
