Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight

Skies will be sunny this afternoon except for a few areas of fog
around Greeley and Sterling. Visibilities may be less than a
quarter mile at times through about 2 PM.

Areas of fog are expected to re-develop in the South Platte River
Valley tonight. Visibilities may again drop to a quarter mile at
times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Saturday through Thursday

Areas of fog on the plains Saturday morning will give way to
mostly sunny skies and above normal temperatures.

Snow will develop in the mountains late Saturday night into
Sunday as the next weather system moves into the area. Several
inches of snow and hazardous winter travel conditions can be
expected Sunday through Monday. On the plains, there will be a
chance of snow showers, but only light if any accumulation would
be possible.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
