Washington County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight

Snow will continue in the mountains today, with rain over the
plains. Snow accumulations could reach 3 to 6 inches over Grand,
Jackson and Larimer Counties, while 2 to 4 inches fall over Summit
County. Rain on the plains may change to a mix of rain and snow
late in the afternoon, but no snow accumulations are expected.

Precipitation will decrease this evening. Areas of fog may
develop across the plains overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday

High pressure will build over the region Friday through Saturday
with dry conditions and gradually warming temperatures. The next
weather system will bring snow back into the mountains Saturday
night and Sunday, with cooler temperatures and a slight chance of
showers across the plains for Monday and Tuesday. By the middle of
the week, it should turn drier with temperatures back to near
normal.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
